Healthy Snacks for Growing Minds
We provide two nutritious afternoon snacks daily for children in our care.
Families are asked to provide breakfast and lunch from home. To ensure the safety of all children, all meals must be nut-free and follow USDA guidelines for balanced nutrition.
Our snacks include a variety of:
Grains
such as banana bread, whole grain tortillas, whole grain pita bread, and Bran Flakes
Fruits
such as apple slices, berries, strawberries, and oranges
Proteins
such as string cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, and SunButter
Vegetables
such as cucumber slices, carrot chips, and bell peppers
